In 2010, it is our prayer that every Connect group at TSC young and old would get involved in what God is doing around the globe. God did not just save us from, He saved us to. He saved us from our sins, but He also saved us to fulfill our purpose, which is to bring Him glory by furthering His Kingdom. TSC’s missional purpose is to show every person God calls us to near and far His grace for them through active love and through the proclamation of the Gospel. We believe that these two things (active love/proclamation) are always more powerful when used together.

TSC desires for all of its members to consider being a part of the Acts 1:8 Strategy that God has asked us to join him in of reaching our Jerusalem (local missions), Judea (national missions), Samaria (international missions, and the Ends of the Earth (frontier missions). Please consider doing something in 2010 to help us reach every tongue, tribe and nation for His glory!

PRAY– That 250-300 TSC members would be trained to go on a short-term mission trip within the next year (189 in 2009). Pray specifically as well that 50 of these would be students going on international trips. Pray that God would continue to work through the International Mission Board, the North American Mission Board, and other organizations that we partner with the accomplish God’s purpose. Pray as well for our missionaries around the world and the areas we are partnering with, that God would save those who need Him!

GIVE– Not all who are called to go initially have the funds required. God may allow you to cross paths with someone in the coming months who needs financial support. Please be ready if the Lord leads you to financially support a family member or friend who is called to go in 2010.

GO– Jesus commands us not just to concern ourselves locally, but also globally. Pray about how you can be a part God’s calling on your life to go in 2009. Pray through the list of opportunities in this portion of the website, and ask God to reveal to you which one He is calling you to in 2010.

GET CREATIVE- Let us know if you have an idea of how we can minister better to areas we are partnering with! Who knows? God could use your idea when networked with others to make a huge impact!
